These templates are minimal.
DWT files in Onshape import frames, zones, title blocks, content, and drawing
properties such as line widths, arrow heights, fonts, and all other
customizations. DXF files are provided for alternate CAD platforms.
These templates use third angle projection and ANSI inch dimensions. ANSI mm dimensions are easy to configure.

Typeface and size
A line-width font is highly recommended for drawings.
- When exported as a DXFthey can be edited natively in most vector graphics programs.
- They avoid needing to reference a font file when exported as vectors.
- Opinion: they create some of the most visually pleasing drawings. ARIsoP1is my personal favorite Onshape font. For an open source alternative, check out osifont.
- Bias zone letters and numbers toward the center to account for printing margins.
